The Cougars will compete against No. 1 seed Stanford; No. 2 seed Baylor; No. 3 seed Oklahoma; No. 4 seed Georgia Tech; No. 5 seed Pepperdine; No. 6 seed North Carolina; No. 7 seed North Florida; No. 8 seed BYU; No. 10 seed Ohio State; No. 11 seed UC Santa Barbara; No. 12 seed Sacramento State and No. 13 seed South Dakota State.
The NCAA Stanford Regional features four of the nation’s top-25 teams and eight of the top 50. Houston enters the NCAA postseason at No. 51 in the latest Golfstat national rankings.
Collin Morikawa (California); Hayden Shieh (Santa Clara); David Kim (UC Irvine); Justin Doeden (Minnesota); Andres Gonzalez (Long Beach State); Felix Mory (Cal State Northridge); Fidel Concepcion (Southern Utah) ; Grant Booth (Nevada); Brian Humphreys (Boise State) and Mike Graboyes (Cornell) will compete as individuals at the NCAA Stanford Regional.
SECOND-ROUND PAIRINGS Tuesday’s Second Round tees off with a 10:30 a.m. (CDT) start. The Cougars will compete in groups with No. 21 Georgia Tech and No. 33 North Carolina off No. 10.
Tracy begins at 10:30 a.m. (CDT) Tuesday with Beshoory (10:41 a.m. CDT), Scobie (10:52 a.m. CDT), Gonzalez (11:03 a.m. CDT) and Perras (11:14 p.m. CDT) following.
FINAL-ROUND PAIRINGS
Wednesday’s Final Round tees off with a 10 a.m. (CDT) start. The Cougars will compete in groups with No. 33 North Carolina and No. 41 North Florida off No. 10.
Beshoory begins at 10 a.m. (CDT) Wednesday with Tracy (10:11 a.m. CDT), Scobie (10:22 a.m. CDT), Gonzalez (10:33 a.m. CDT) and Perras (10:44 a.m. CDT) following.
Not good at all especially when you look at our best finisher. What I do not grasp is that the entire Team took the wrong turn. I appreciate the fact Mr. Dismuke was great at fundraising but we need to take the next step. The next golf season is important for the entire program. Pressure brings the best in all of us. That should be no different.
Been a problem all year with this team; they get to the final day and just collapse. Even Perras, who’s normally pretty stable, got bitten by whatever bug got to this team.
