ABOUT THE TIGERS
Memphis enters play on Saturday with a 7-4 overall record and a 4-0 mark in the month of March. The Tigers will remain in Houston to face Rice on Sunday.

Memphis’ top contributor on the singles court this season has been Katherine Cao. Cao has compiled an 8-1 record throughout the spring and has victories in her last five decisions while playing primarily from the No. 5 singles position. Marta Morga and Hanna Sohn rank second on the squad with six wins each.

Sohn and Morga have combined to be the Tigers’ most successful doubles team this season, holding a 3-0 record during the spring. Morga has also teamed with Josephine Cao to hold a 3-1 mark.

The Cougars started the day short-handed after freshman Tsveta Dimitrova was forced to miss the match due to an injury. The Tigers wrapped the first point of the match with a 6-3 win from Katherine Cao and Anki Wind over Ana Glumac and Cristina Rovira at the No. 1 doubles position.
