The pass rush by UH will be the key to this game.
The best offensive minds will tell you that the three most important things about doing a swing pass is, location, location and location.
IMO, thatâs probably the best place to throw them, for exactly that reason. You canât really throw a deep pass, and thereâs so much traffic that even short throws past the line are a little iffy. That basically means youâre limited to swings, screens, and fades if you want to make the defense respect the threat of the pass.

I was having a little fun there. Glad nobody took offense. The swing passes are running plays. Itâs like USC running student body left with OJ or Marcus Allen. The college blocking rules make those pretty tough plays to defend if your wide outs can block.
Bingo!

This game is important because it will help us prepare for Memphis as well. They can sling it and run it just as well as Tech.
Bubble screens work great with speedsters like Carrier who can just run by anyone. They donât work great when you have a WR that canât outrun a DB. Different skill sets require different play calls
Depends on your talent. Bonner and Dunbar are great making catches in traffic, but arenât going to beat anyone in a footrace to the end zone. So throw the ball and let them catch it for a TD. Donât make them make an easy catch then try to make a play afterwards
