University of Houston Director of Golf Jonathan Dismuke joins us to talk about the path to mastery, embracing discipline, and reseting the program after a tough year.
Interesting chat with Coach Dismuke. Says that the program took a step back and he takes it on himself. Says that there were issues on and off the course and that the team couldn’t put things behind them when needed. Says there was a lot of petty stuff going on. Mentions that the program didn’t live up to the levels that they should be at the University of Houston.
Takes 100% accountability for last year’s struggles. Says that not everyone was 100% bought into the program last year. Says that collectively, the group has to be doing the right things; can’t just be 1-2 guys trying to lead the way with no one else buying in.
