UH #4 in NCAA Net Rankings

#4. #1 RPI maybe a bit fluky but this is not. Real deal. Still getting used to this.

Huge game Saturday. Hell, every game is huge now.

I like it, a #1 seed in the tournament

I see Texas is in at #12, a #3 seed. :joy:

From what the talking heads say, Net rating is a big factor, but no guarantee you get seeded based on it alone. We’ll see.

Unfortunately the only point of reference we really have is the 2019 season because last year’s tourney got cancelled. We were similarly ranked #4 that year and ended up as as 3 seed so at this point I’d just say worry more about winning each game than worrying about where will be seeded because it’s just guess work.

Looks like Memphis, SMU & Wichita St. are all on the fringes of making the tournament. They will all be looking to beat UH in order to get there. - SMU (home), Wichita (away) and Memphis (home & away).

I wonder if the AAC would consider “asking” UH to sit out the AAC tournament in order to get another AAC team into the NCAA tournament this year. Not sure if that’s even possible.

I keep seeing Memphis being mentioned as home and away. When I look at ESPN and the athletics department websites, I only see a 19 game conference schedule and no away game at Memphis. Am I missing something?

At Memphis will be the last weekend of the regular season. CBS hasn’t decided if they want the game on Saturday or Sunday yet.

Look at the AAC site under UH, its there.
