“What’s our team going to be like?” he added. “There’s been a lot of talk about how we used to do it in the past. But that’s not important right now. It’s about the 2017 Cougars. Not the 2015 team. Not the 2016 team. It’s about this year. What do we want to leave as our legacy?”

This article got some real good quotes and kind of gives some insight to what the mood of the players has been.

Really seems like the team has been sort of resting on their laurels a bit and that they haven’t been as focused on the team as had been made out.

If the players have been truly getting after it this week in practices, and want to win and get redemption from last week’s loss, then a poor showing against Memphis, without question, lies solely on this very weak coaching staff. I truly can’t believe that UH chose they way they did to replace lyin’ Tom.

here’s hoping they change all of that. holding Memphis down isn’t going to be easy but ucf did it. maybe Memphis gave ucf some help doing that, but it can be done,
