“Everyone in the league was getting hyped up to play against the Wichita States and the Cincinnatis of the world,” guard Rob Gray said. “We’re just as good as them, or better, in our eyes. Now every team is going to want to get that Houston win under their belt.”

He’s right about that. These next four games and the AAC tournament will show if the team has matured enough to handle everyone’s best shot.

Yes, he is correct. Tonight could be the most challenging of the remaining regular season games. Memphis has struggled against the better teams on their schedule. Guessing that Tubby has them ready to take on a ranked team. Big game for our Coogs to strengthen their seeding position.

We gotta be up for all games indeed, but I don’t expect this to be more challenging than SMU with or without Shake.

The team seems to be performing in post-season form. As a long suffering BB fan, who fondly remembers the Elvin Hayes era through the Phi Slamma Jamma era through this era, the resurgence in BB is long overdue, but better late than never.
