What is the difference between official and unofficial visits?
School doesn’t pay for the visit if it’s unofficial.
Aren’t there NCAA limits on the number of official visits a school can give and a kid can take?
As opposed to unofficial visits–no limitations as long as it’s within a recruiting period (I would guess).
Correct. A student-athlete can take 5 official visits, but can take unlimited unofficial visits. If a student wants to meet with the coaching staff, they cannot visit during a dead period.
We’re offering alot of players from the Houston area in 2020. Perfect time to do it with the new arena near completion.
