You only have 85 scholarships to give. We’re currently using a walk-on, although, we have another on scholarship.

Well according to 247 sports he was the second highest ranked kicker in the country. Now whether he was ranked after he enrolled at USC, I don’t know. The coach might believe USC can attract quality kickers without using up a scholarship. Doesn’t mean the kid can’t kick.
Well, he certainly had two major kicks tonight.
