The Southwest Conference folded in 1996. We have been left out of playing with the big boys a long time. I’m afraid we never get back to a level playing field. It’s not like you can apply for a power conference. On paper we qualify, the issue is nobody wants us.

I think no one is thinking about expansion now and also, we need to understand the politics of it all. We being Khator, Tillman, and Pez.

If TCU could get back in after their exile, why not UH?

That door may never open again. It might. We might be at peak college football or just a bit past it.

TCU , UTAH, Louisville got in, so can we. South Florida and Cinch made Big East when they were BCS…there is hope! Right place right tome.

If we don’t make it then we will become a basketball school with no football in the future.
