Brett is out of Hersey, IL and plays 3B or SS. He’s got a solid bat and room to grow on his 6’2" frame. Harris was all-area in Northwest Illinois last year:
Harris was a three-year starter and despite playing mostly shortstop, could play any position. Voted Hersey’s male athlete of the year, Harris led the team in doubles, and runs while hitting .406 with runners in scoring position. “Brett loves to play and was always prepared,” Hersey coach Bob Huber said. “Having Brett in our lineup the last three years has spoiled us. He is going to leave a big void.”
