I need to add a further explanation of my first post.
This is a picture of Willie with his son David at the 2017 AAC Indoor Track & Field Champioships in Birmingham Alabama earlier in the year. I have known Willie for over 45 years. Generous man, husband and Dad… He has raised an exceptional family. I have known David (son) and Janice (daughter) for quite some time and they are loving, kind just like their Dad…

Willie Burns gave me a scholarship to attend UofH, even though I was not a member of his fraternity offering the scholarship. Hell of a guy. His tailgates were a blast.
