“You know, in this day and age, that you need three or four (running backs),” UH coach Major Applewhite said Monday. “It’s not like Bo Jackson and Herschel Walker in the mid-’80s, where they’re going to have 45 carries. It’s just not it. You have to play three or four of them. You have to try and keep them healthy throughout the season.”
