Lots to play for vs SAM (20-12) after getting whipped in Hville.
USF is 14-19 w a win vs MD & FL.
HCU is 6-22
Level of competition is horrible in this conference….there needed to be a tough OOC schedule to even have a chance to dance….but that would not have been handled well.

Win the AAC or nada this year makes sense with the current talent.
AAC dreadful now & UH has a shot even with glaring bullpen weak spots.
AAC finished 5th in RPI as recently as 2021. 4th in Covid 2020.
It doesn’t even look like good college baseball anymore.
AAC adding 4 current top 100 RPI teams.
It probably makes ECU better but Memphis, etc are in trouble.
N TX ended baseball in 1988.

Who would have thought with us and UCF leaving ( Cincinnati always sucks) that bringing in UTSA and Rice would strengthen the conference.

A difficult one would have been much worse.
We’re #2 in RPI in the conference?!? Pretty sure that’s almost exclusively from the ECU series win. If I remember correctly we were around #200 before that series.
Rice hasn’t been good for awhile though.

I know…. But still on more than an upswing than us….Records are close to same and Rice has an RPI 37 points higher……
