Shooting is going to be a big problem for this team. We literally only have 2 shooters and Sasser and grimes aren’t efficient. Thank the lord for our defense and effort. I don’t know how far this team can go if we keep shooting and scoring like this.

those not familiar with Wichita 
they have elite perimeter defenders in dexter dennis (on grimes) and alterique gilbert (on sasser)
the rest arent great on D

we are going to need a 3rd guard on the floor to make something happen

dejon is doing a decent job
but when shead or mark are on the floor, we are getting nothing much

this is the issue with losing mills, we dont have any players that can score on great D
 sasser and grimes tend to dominate poor defenders but aren’t hard shot makers

WSU is trying to play up to the Coogs toughness but just like with SMU they will not be able to keep up our style of play the entire game. SMU got tired out in the second half trying to bang with us and WSU will do the same. When teams try to change their normal style of play to match the Coogs it doesn’t last.

Nothing off the bench and Sasser is off and Grimes is a no show.
Figured the Shockers would come to play but shocked they have out played us and out coached us.
Hopefully this gets turned around in the second half
