2017 college football returning production rankings: Oregon, TCU, Texas among leaders

I know Connelly is a bit of a polarizing figure for Coogs, but some of the data he provides is interesting. Pretty good correlation for teams returning a lot of production to improve while teams losing a lot of production to falter (which is fairly common sense). Still, here it is in stat form.

Coogs are pretty far down the list; not surprising since we’re losing Ward/Allen on offense and Taylor/Bowser/Malveaux/H.Wilson on defense. Still, we do return better than 45% of our production which is Connelly’s cutoff. Overall, we return 55% of our production which is 96th best overall and just below Boise State.
