Thankfully, we aren’t desparate enough to need anyone on this board. For example, in order to run the forty, I’d need a rest break midway.

I had two guys I graduated with that walked on back in 96 and made it. One made it for a year, the other, Fred Conley, wound up starting by 99-00.

Congrats to them, I tried to walkon back in 1996 as well, but Tony Fritzpatrick though I was too small at 5’ - 6 1/2", 177 lbs and told me to go tryout at a D1-AA school. So I gave up the football dream to play for UH snd focused more on my studies. BTW, he tried to become head coach but was bypassed for Dimel or Briles, I cant remember.
