If I’m not mistaken the #1#4 seeds-- 16 Teams are protected to stay in their Region for 2nd weekend. So Houston would be put in South Region-- San Antonio for 2nd weekend. Im pretty sure that is a significant advantage they give the Top 16.

Edit-- Lunardi & another one I follow have Coogs as #4 seed n both have us in South Region-- San Antonio which would be for the 2nd Weekend.

Very nice. Let me know if your son can’t go :face_with_hand_over_mouth:.
I definitely will look into going if they make to 2nd weekend if it’s in SA. That’s why for fans sake it would be great n advantage to finish in Top 16.
Would be put in South Region San Antonio

Good. Hopefully they move back up to the T50 in NET and stay there since that was the last game of the season for them

Wichita State and Virginia also won so I hope it was big enough for them to move into the T75 for a second Q1 and 2 more Q2 wins

Oregon on the other hand is down 20 to Washington State with 4 mins left…

Good points.

Looking at also it moves TxTech closer to back of #4 seed line.

UT 57 – KU 57

Final – KU 70 – UT 63

Hopefully they lose badly in Big XII tournament, and then lose badly in a NIT road game (I wish).

USC vs UCLA starting soon.
A USC win tonight n Coog win tomorrow moves Houston to around 14-15 overall imo. Would move past Ark & UCLA

I know Lunardi has the Coogs rt in front of Arky but most have the opposite.

FWIW, I found interesting that ESPN had an article asking the question “are Q1 wins overrated?”

Let’s just win and make the point moot.

Not that it matters but McNeese and Houston Baptist went to OT tied at 95 and now head to double OT at 102 apiece….

Where’s the “D”!!!
