New Tulsa coach

I dont love the hire. Your team has to have an identity. Either offensively or defensively. And if you look at their efficiency #s in both categories.

Pretty average

It’s nice not having to worry about one of our coaches leaving here for being too successful!

@Jcoop9 with that breaking news.

Wow. Probably the best move for SMU.

Jankovich was a good recruiter. But they always had bad losses early in the season that killed their At Large chances

Our league has definitely gotten better with hires at ECU, Tulsa and if McCasland at SMU

Some might not agree, but I think Tim Jankovich is a very good coach! I listened to a post game interview with him after their loss to Memphis in the semifinals of the AAC tournament. He definitely understands the game at a high level. Kendrick Davis stuck around longer than he needed to, so he has relationships w/ players! I bet someone hires him this year!

He’s the one that left. Says he’s retiring.

Yep. Will be 63 yrs old this yr. Good coach.

Took over for L. Brown during the 15/16 season . Went 9-0 aftrr he took over to finish the reg season. Went to NCAA Tourney as SMU HC in 2016/2017 season.

Right. Once alot of the core Larry Brown players left, he still got pretty good players to come to SMU.

The players i listed were from 2017-18 to Present.

**Milton and Jarrey Foster were apart of the 2016-17 Tournament team

I don’t get into players and such. All i know is he was Coach for SMU when they went to NCAAT in 16/17. Rest is not important imo. As the main asst for several yrs he probably recruited everyone of those players when Brown was HC.

Edit; well you completely changed your post from original one, so now we can move on . :man_shrugging::man_facepalming:
