It’s just like every sport except Basketball at the moment. These kids go to Tech, Texas and LSU were the do challenge for national championships.
UH at the Big 12 Conference Championships this weekend.
UH men won the 4x100 today with a time of 38.44. A stadium record and appears to be the 2nd fastest D1 time nationally at this point.
I saw that race earlier, Coogs looked really good. We had a good lead going into the anchor leg and then Maswanganyi just pulled away like the other teams were running in mud.
Time for the Coogs to start racking up some points.
And just like that, UH jumps from last place to 6th place in Men’s. 25 pts from the 4*100 and the 110mH. Facility records in both events.
Just got home and turned in. Due to the rain out, the 100 and 200 m finals are awfully close together. Going to be a tough grind to double for Maswanganyi. He is running really well though.
Love me some T&F!
Women’s 4x400m beat the field by more than 5 seconds! My first time to see Michaela Mouton run, she’s outstanding.
The men and women relay teams were smoking ! The women could have even run faster with better hand offs
Big day at the B12 Championships.
So, who do the men have in the pipeline to replace Maswanganyi? Big shoes to fill. He really finished his first and only season in Big 12 on a high note.
Sophomore Louis Hinchliffe ran a 10.16 to finish 2nd in the B12.
Regionals start this week, Wednesday, I believe.
