looking at the bracket

  • round 1- as the favorite we got the weakest in the field

towson, was respectable for a g5 last year, best player transferred to kansas… lost a ton to graduation…
probably a 20+ blowout

  • Round 2:
probably a win, .but both are middling teams with experience that could surprise- both return a ton

Wake (likely opponent): returns everyone but their star player from a 19 win ACC team
add 18pt scorer from CMU and 2 under performing 5star…
– they drastically outsize us at the the 4 and 5 (but arent majors low post scorers), but something we can overcome, but assuming efton reid gets a waiver, and if him and hunter sallis play anything to their former rating they could be star … if Wake frest has a major turn around they need hunter sallis to be good, their other guards arent much of a threat in the scope of contentiond with top teams

Utah: – ( future conference opponent)- returns all the top scorers from a 17 win Pac 12 team…would have been a threat if they made any notable offseason options, but did nothing of note …
–they drastically outsize us- utahs top player is a 7ft post scorer, who can also shot… but overall team is kinda soft

  • Round 3:

If we make it to the championship: Likely opponent: St Johns

New Coach: Rick Pitino (hall of fame)

G: 6’3 Jordan Dinlged (upenn transfer) - top returning scorer in the NCAA (24per) -5th yrs
G: 6’3 Daniss Jenkins (15&5&5 Iona Transfer) - 5th yr
G: 6’6 R.J. Luis (11pt &5rbs as a True Fresh on Umass)
G/F: 6’6 Chris Ledlum 18pt 8rbs (harvard transfeer) - 5th year
C: 6’11 Joel Soriano 15pts 12rbs - 5th year

bench: Nahiem Alleyne (6th man on UConn title team, 5th year, 6’4), Glenn Taylor (6’7 11pt oregon st transfer), Simeon Wilcher (6’4 top 50 incoming freshmen), Zuby Ejiofor (6’9 kansas transfer, former top 50 from 2022 class)

the roster speaks for itself… its about chemistry for them, with so many new pieces

if we lose or theres an upset: likely Dayton
– returns superstar Center who does 18pts 8rbs, and PG… froma 22win Dayton…lost of ton of the supporting pieces but the team was built around their center…theyll be compette for a a10 title but i doubt they are world beaters in the context of actual top teams

Getting our butts handed to us on a platter

Lol I’m just surprised we somehow have 33

Are they splashing 3s on us?

Or dominating in the paint? What do yall think

Appears to be an old-fashioned butt-whippin.
