Congrats to Cory Julks’ high school coach & former Coog Gene Flores (2001-2005) on joining the Astros Spanish language broadcast team.

I was just about to post this….was a second rounder right?

Ben Sears on the way up. With KC hurting for pitching he could get fast tracked.

I know hindsight is 20/20 but had he stayed he would have finally gotten his shot here.

Two good innings for Nick in his MLB debut; 0 R, 0 H, 1 BB, 3 K :grinning:.
Came out for a 3rd inning .

It’s such a shame he didn’t stay here.

I totally get it….he didn’t see a spot for himself to carve out….

But with the injuries, he would have been up this year and had his opportunity.

I watch a lot of baseball and watch it through a coaches eyes……I can tell you that Nick’s stuff is miles ahead of Seth Martinez, Joel Kuhnel or Blanco’s.
