Would of taken care of two stones in one with an inside “unstoppable force” scoring w/occasional 3 & depth.
Bonus: A fresh Roberts off the bench woulda beast!!!
Dunn has a much better form & follow thru on his jump shot than Mark. I wish Mark the best unless it affects UH basketball then he can suck lol.

Guys don’t have to be mirror images for comparison.
I think Dunn is on par with the Edwards as a transfer with some give and take. Dunn will need to catch up a bit with Edwards who had a jump with a tough program at Tech.
Shooting I don’t think will be a huge difference but kyler’s hot is better than Dunn’s.
Ball handling, making his own looks and getting to the FT line are pluses for DD.
Edwards was a dog on D and that is what DD is wanting from our program. My guess is his defense and rebounding come up two notches in our program.

An interesting thought on Kenneth Lofton… He probably would of left to the NBA anyways but it would had made his decision a lil harder i believe if sunshine was well entrenched with the NIL Linking Coogs program last year. The NIL would had been higher because more opportunities would of open.
Now you add the Big 12 label and program and i can see why elite transfers coach goes after could have UH on top!

Well, that doesn’t sound so great.
Nah… Just what UH needs. A guy who has an solid jumper who doesn’t relied on it to be effective on the offense of end. If jumper is not there he can get to the ft for points. That would of been Mark’s job had he stay here. But his handles werent quite as good as dunn.

So no bigs in the UH pipeline ?
Guess not. Although Joprior says there are 3 more transfer prospects being kept one the down low. Says there are a lot of moving pieces. Don’t know what that means but maybe one of our own transfers. Maybe Mylik or Ramon. IF we get Cryer then I assume things could open up. Easier to sell the program to transfers when the roster is looking more complete.

If UH gets Cryer & Dunn they are among the early winners in the transfer portal.
Not saying someone will transfer from our current returning squad but you just never know.
