I read the Dunn vs Mark debate. Dunn was the star go to player for Temple. He had heightened attention unlike Mark. Mark was the third fourth option. I would have loved Mark finish his college career in Houston but since he left, I believe we came out ahead. Dunn does not need to be the star go to player and do what he does along with Shead and hopefully Cryer. I believe in this team the real focus will be on Cryer by the opposite teams. He will be the MVP.

I like the transitions but there needs to be another exit. I feel we made the mistake of signing too many high schoolers. We should have got only two and not four.

khalif battle was the star and go to player at temple … im not sure the heighted attention as temple had more scorers that us…
zach hicks was elite shooter on the 4, and had a legit post scorer at the 5 with jamille reynolds
Don’t know where he’ll end up but this kid looks nice. 6’9 long power forward. Late bloomer Senior. Has a decent 3 pt shot and inside game. Long and you know he plays defense because of Tennessee

I keep hearing that he wants to play some point guard. If so, I have to think that wont be here since I don’t see Shead transferring or making the NBA next season. To me, this feels like another Kendric Davis situation, where we got excited for a bit and then he went to Memphis because his desires didn’t fit with the current situation here.
On another note: On the Baylor board, they really stress that he is not good defensively. That is something that intrigues me, with a head coach who is obsessed about defense. But our staff seems to want him, so they must have a plan for how they want to use him.
The plan could be that our defense is top notch and taking the hit on defense would be worth it for the offensive gain
