The schools that offered the most have always recruited the best players, it is just more transparent now. The issue is the free transfer now. It is what it is.

can i be honest it “feels” almost unethical what arkansas is doing
i get the concept of best roster possible but at some point there has to be consideration for the players…
recruting a bunch of senior upperclassmen desperate to improve their pro chances and then getting way more than what you need, knowing you are going to keep a big portion of them deep bench is kinda cruel…
mussleman is a former nba guy, and i think he is treating it like an nba roster… but its not the nba … these are alot of kids final chance …its one thing with overloading freshmen… they can transfer out with 3 years to go… but overloading on seniors who deserve to be starters is different…
sampson could have brought courtney ramey in last year and lied to him about being a major player with or without sasser… in the bigger picture would have been better for the team, but he knew ramey deserved to be a starter not contingent on another player and push for his nba dreams and told him the need was only there is sasser went pro… which was fair to ramey and to our young guys, arkansas has 3 4star freshmen who never got a chance and likely pushed out to make room for transfers

I think if Coach Sampson had left for Arkansas a few years ago UH would of turn to Mussleman. Im glad CKS stayed here.

Arkansas is telling recruits the earlier they sign will be taken into consideration to determining the starting five.
j/k
I would like to think ARK recruiting practices will come back to bite them later on once players realize.

I get your point……However, whether an incoming freshman or a transfer they need to see how Arkansas operates….nobody is forcing them to sign there….there is a history now, a pattern if you will.
The kids and their parents/handlers need to be smart when it comes to programs that operate this way.

Arkansas is treating it like the NBA they are paying for players and don’t care about their feelings. The guys go in there as a last chance type of thing
Arkansas only has to hit once for everyone else to do it like that too. The guys arent college students at Arkansas.

How many recruits does it cost to rent a fake championship trophy?
The answer is never enough……not saying you need to be “Hoosiers” but you need enough cohesiveness to reach the pinnacle.
The Eastern Conference All-Star team would not have beaten the Warriors from 2015-2018.

We called this. He went social media quiet for like a week plus. Typically not a great sign
With Ramon coming back, we were looking at 8 guards
Wish we couldve seen him this season.
Hope he finds a great fit

@MRCoog Nah, i think thats it.
We now have (7) guards for next season. I expect KJ Jefferson to redshirt.
Cause Sharp, Arceneaux and Ramon all need legit minutes next year off the bench
So why throw KJ in blowouts with 2 minutes to go? In my opinion that’s kinda a waste
Jwan, Ja’vier, Ced, McFarland and Tugler. Are all in. And then 1 more big to add…
