I get how Stute and Ike fit with our team but I don’t know if I see it with Abram. One thing I don’t like about Stute is that he entered the portal before the SEC tournament.
We are young in the middle. We definitely need to bring in an experienced big.

Sampson typically leaves a scholly open and I would say there is more of a chance Francis goes Portaling than Mylik Wilson…

Mark is nowhere close to being ready for the NBA and would probably go undrafted. Even if he did, he would be a bench warmer and bounce from team to team. If he needs the money, he can make some good money in the G-League or overseas. His former teamates can tell him what overeseas is like. i want Mark to return and improve his game so he is NBA ready.
Not a rumor, just a gut feeling. Sampson not playing Francis towards the end of the season spoke volumes to me. Omier was out rebounding our guys and we definitely needed another big to challenge him more…

Regarding Shead and Mark,
Shead finished season as 31% 3pt shooter.
Mark finished season as 32.8 3pt shooter
Not great.
We’re losing (96) threes from Sasser & (35) from Jarace. (131) total.
I look at it like baseball 
, if you lose a 40 homerun guy, that’s a big hole you have to fill
Sasser was that homerun hitter. Yes, Arceneaux, Sharp and Mark can raise their game, but we need more scorers

Walker was 35 of 101 from the 3 for 34.7%.
Sharp was 43 of 124 from the 3 for 34.7%.
Mark was 39 of 119 from the 3 for 32.8%.
Shead was 45 of 145 from the 3 for 31%.
Elvin was 5 of 12 from the 3 for 41.7%.
