2024-2025 Houston Cougars Basketball Season

The good news is Milos has been in the Big 12 for two years so it is not like he is coming from a lower level. He has played in big games and against the likes of Tinsley, Johnson at UCF, vs Kansas and of course the great Jamal Shead.
He is an athletic and very analytical player who is going to learn how to get down and dirty. Every day as a Cougar will be the best he has ever been.

I agree TA will close plenty of games though I believe it will be next to J’Wan. Maybe on occasion Cryer slides to the point and we go big with Sharp, Arceneaux, Tugler/Francis and J’Wan.

Milos should come in with the biggest chip on his shoulder

How is he not on this list?

He’s either not as good as we think OR alot of people are gonna eat crow. “How did we overlook Milos Uzan”

Roddy Gayle? Jaxson Robinson? C’mon man

James wouldn’t be on that list if he weren’t going to Duke.

It has NOTHING to do with “past evaluations”.

It comes down to who’s evaluation do you trust more?? Sampson and his staffs evaluation of a player or a couple of dudes on a site called My bookie who post something on youtube that has less then two hundred views?

Not trying to be a jerk but good grief what a pathetic comment.

You think Field of 68 guys are smart, but content like this

Evan Miya said, we’re the best with transfers & their production

Milos is our starting PG, for a top 5 team.

Tucker Deveries, people love. But WVU could be a bottom Big12 team. The league is that good

Milos is gonna be a stud. Hes got a high basketball IQ, just needs to develop his motor

If any of these commentators were really good at evaluating talent they would be a scout somewhere. It is just something to fuel us during the off-season. Do not take comments from people outside the University of Houston Basketball Program too seriously.

Lol they just spit their opinions. I’d rather watch Jo and pesik go at it. It’s be more informative too

Interesting that Tramon Mark is not on the list either.

Transfer Dishon Jackson has the potential to be an impact player for Iowa St. 6’11”, 280 lbs with some offense. He is going to be a load.

I’m late to the conversation, but Cryer was my favorite on the team, after Shead. I’m very high on Cryer. I guess that shows what I know.

  1. Milos Uzan - Houston Cougars

2023-24 season stats (at Oklahoma): 9.0 ppg and 4.4 apg

The 6’4 guard started the last two years with the Sooners, leading them in passing while shooting 39% from the field. Uzan had seven games with at least seven assists, including a 13-point and 10-assist game at TCU. Houston returned its entire core from last season outside of Big 12 POY guard Jamal Shead, with Uzan coming in as his replacement to run the offense.

36 isn’t actually that bad it’s way higher than I’ve seen on a lot of other sites

yeah I can agree with that placement based on what he did at Oklahoma. But there are a couple guys ahead of him that I think are laughable even right now. One is from the Big 12 and the other the ACC.

went to check the stats website and I saw that mylik has actually been playing for the full season. I think he’s the only one I’ve seen playing for the full season. they stats on a surface level seemed really good, he leads his team in scoring, but once you go into context he kind of reemphasizes why I don’t want him in the rotation and I kinda hope he gets jumped in the depth chart. he’s made only 3 threes for the entire season in 8 games on less than 20% and his assist are rather low for a pro-am league (only about 3.5). he is scoring but mostly off the drives and cutting. The kind Offense that you don’t get playing D1 defenses at 6’1

Great rebounding numbers tho
