As I recall, they sent us to the FT line a lot in that game, and we were pretty bad. It was kind of a weird game, and they had a big dude in the middle that gave us trouble. Their rebounding kept them in the game.
Taze tied the game up with a three near the end of regulation after we came back from a double-digit deficit.
I expect this year’s team to do a better job of putting the game away.

Agreed. Last year Speedy Claxton was a brand new coach so we had no film with which to prepare. Not so this year. I think we’ll be just fine tonight.

Yah it was the first game of the year and we were still figuring out how to work Moore and Carlton into the rotation. Still can’t overlook them. They did knock off Seton Hall so they’re at least on par with the lower end P5 teams.

Thru 4 games UH is shooting .488 from 3. Our best 3 pt season in the last 5 was the final 4 year when we shot .354 from 3. We won’t keep up the current pace, but if we can get the 3pt % for the year close to or over .370 that would help tremendously.

If LJ would pick it up, we’d be over 50%. 
Just a quick game log look, this is easily the best 4 game stretch in the last 3 years, we only had 7 or 8 individual games we shot over .488 in the last 3 years.

I honestly think TA is our most ready nba player. Skills and measurables
He does look much more polished this year.
Going to be very hard to keep JoJo from the starting lineup. Also if one of our guards is having an off day just play TA, that dude is so ready.
Having Mercy, TA, JoJo (or Francis) first off bench is what is going to put us at the next level.
