Also see Gee Gervin, Tim Moore and Carl Herrera.
Who is between Moore and Coleman?

Edit: I believe it is Louis Truscott.

The more I see the more I feel that we should go with the following lineup -
Tugler
Arceneaux
Sharpe
Cryer
Los

Bench:
Jwan
Javier
Mercy
Wilson
Ramon ( when he gets back)

McFarland could be an option depending on his healing etc.

At minimum if not starting your list of starters should get the lion’s share of minutes the rest of the season.

When is McFarland supposed to be back???

Probably next year horrific injury with a rod in his leg

Even if he is able to get back on the practice court I don’t see any scenario he gets meaningful minutes ahead of our top 5 bigs that includes TA.

Barring an injury, I just don’t see Sampson taking Roberts out of the starting 5, even though he insists it doesn’t matter who starts.

Yeah no way McFarland is back this year. But on your lineup it’s definitely one that should be used consistently.

Nice little article that seemed fair.

Tugler moved into to starting lineup….i think he has shown it was warranted.

Could same be said about TA taking Roberts starting spot?

If TA can match Roberts’ rebounding, then maybe. Aside from the leadership side, TA hasn’t shown he’s physical enough to slot into the 4 in most cases.

Tugler was better than Francis in almost every aspect, and Francis still makes too many mistakes to be considered a floor general like Roberts.

that was after a major loss… and before that sampson was already publicly noting that francis wasnt playing great and jojo was playing amazing

sampson reinforced jwan’s importance in the post game last game, noted he was a centerpiece of this team. noted the rebounding and defensive importance and its improvement. the offense isnt there but you have to know Sampson

from a basketball standpoint as fans we love offense, but defense and rebounding are the bedrock of our team… Corpus before our game was bottom 20 nationally in rebounding (out of 360). they were beating us badly on the board, our game actually jumped them 25spots in rebound ranking… jwan isn’t going anywhere till that improve

Do you think inserting Arceneaux into the 4 spot instead of Jwan would benefit Milos game? Allow us to attack in transition and allow us to play at a faster tempo?

adding another shooter for floor spacing and another outlet to pass to will 100% benefit milos… the offensive upside is there, adds another ball handler who can push the pace

it would reduce our defensive quality and drastically reduce our rebounding quality …that outweighs the offensive benfits

terrance has a path to start, but the person he would start over is pretty obvious, but he is just liked a lot here so they dont want to acknowledge it

I agreed with most of what you said Pesik……but let’s not pretend Roberts has been some rebounding machine.

At times he seems to disappear.
