Dana’s abrasive personality is a big reason why a lot of P5 jobs arent interested. That being said, if he keeps winning then a lot of schools will look past it.

Nick Saban doesn’t kiss boosters’ asses either and he gets away with it because he wins.

You mean Greenville Intrn’l Airport, I assume.

Edit: being a sm privately Owned plane, I assume it’s easier to get in/out of Regional Airport such as Anderson than a bigger one such as Greenville Internat’l Airport

Well, we can also think of it as “blunt”.

Good contrast between Dana and Lincoln Riley during the Adam James thing at Tech. Linc went to the media and made sure that everybody knew he was totally against the bad thing and warned against it. Dana, meanwhile, was telling anyone who would listen that James was soft and should have been cut from the team long before the incident.

I was biased because Dana was UH-connected (and I tended to side with Leach on that whole thing), but I much preferred Dana’s approach. But his is atypical and that sort of attitude doesn’t go over as well with bluebloods. They want Lincoln Riley types (as indicated by Lincoln Riley’s career since). And I think that’s great.
