As a fellow Booker T Washington alum who followed Chris and the team throughout the entire season all the way to SA to watch them lose to OCFFA in the title game, McDermott isn’t a CKS player…IMO. Motor doesn’t run at 100% all the time. Talented kid. Very polite. But I doubt very seriously if he gets offered.
Like McDermott said about UH’s interest, “They say they like me. I’m trying to get them to love me.”

True. But you know the crazy thing is he still puts big numbers up and is solid on efficiency, shooting wise! Makes you feel that he knows he is so much better than anyone he goes up against in HISD that he cruises from time to time. Imagine if he always played hard and had that killer instinct to dominate his opponent all the time.

2023 reclassify is completely still on the table… not only a summer reclass but a mid year reclass aswell
“all his top school are telling him they will take him early {if he reclasses}” (going to assume that includes us)

On a serious note it sounds like he’s leaning towards reclassifying. He mentioned it would be a good decision for him if he went down that route. Problem is if we bring in this supposed stretch 4 we don’t have room. Would someone leave if we secured our 4 man?
