And as tough as the portal is now it’s doubtful Dana would have been as successful as he thinks he would have been.
I agree, it’s my opinion he meant they wouldn’t be offering or searching for more high school recruits other than those they had already offered and would fill what we didn’t get with the portal . But there are a lot of decently rated high school players still uncommitted so I’m hoping CWF gets some and also some flips before signing day as well as some impact players and depth builders from the portal

Was recruited out of H.S by all the Big Boys-- Alabama, Mich, Florida, Tenn , many others. From Baton Rouge
An irony of this for UH was that Holgorsen was hinting an overhaul of the roster using transfer portal. Some of the players were going to get nudged out. Fritz however hasn’t nudged many players out, if at all.
