Basketball does not drive athletes at UH but is very successful at this time but football is king at almost every big time shool.

Exceptions would be Duke, Kentucky and UCONN and maybe NC although they just went big time with Belichick.
The day may not be far away that an athlete is looking for a $40 million NIL … 
Three years ago it was a resounding 10 million in the American .
My concern is that our previous DC had the team moving to where the ball was. For instance, instead of everyone having just a zone area to cover, they also followed the ball and were able to attack the offense better (bring more players to the point of attack moving away from their assigned zone area. I’m hoping Austin does make the defense better of course. Time will tell. At least by the 3rd game. JMHO,
