Defense probably takes a step back this year. Just hope the offense can offset that.

Not completely sure, but I am pretty confident our first full Big 12 share (maybe 40-50 million) will be in summer of ‘26.

We begin making full shares this fall. Not sure exactly when/how the money arrives though.

JayShon Ridgle participated in practice Saturday morning at TDECU, about 2 hours on the turf.
Then he went over to Rice and won this 200M.

He sounds like someone to keep an eye on this fall. He got injured early on last year, right?
Everything I Heard was that Armstrong was perceived as the rising star because of the job he did in 2023 at Florida! And the reason he left was Ron Roberts came in as the Co defensive coordinator in 2024.I watched a video that commented that Billy Napier made a mistake by bringing in Roberts kind of to oversee Armstrong. That was seen as part of the reason why Armstrong left to go to Houston! Also, he has high regard for Willie Fritz!

I’m hoping that he and Koby Young start coming on big this year. I feel like we’re in good shape at WR with the Portal guys, Johnson, Mews, Williams, Shoulders, and the two young ones mentioned.

There’s no tackling, so at this point, it’s about whether they’re hitting the right hole and picking up protection in mock 11-on-11. But I was in Indy during the last two practices, so I’m unsure.
Will be there for 3 hours of football practice today, so maybe I’ll know more. Doing some FB player interviews, Matthew Mitchell’s intro press conference, meeting with basketball coaches, talk with Eddie, Kelvin interview, and hoops players interviews.

I predict that we will be a “surprise” team this Fall.
Our coaching is good and the talent level is higher than what we had after Dana was booted.
7-5 seems very doable. With a Bowl win to finish 8-5.

Information on this is very easy to find. My take after reading the articles is the numbers were better when Armstrong was by himself in 2023. A lot of of the Florida sports shows felt like the gators made a mistake by letting go of Armstrong. Just my take on it Based on videos I listened to.
