UofH enters 2025–26 with an intriguing blend of size, shooting, and interior defense. If early chemistry issues and foul concerns are managed, and if one or two perimeter players can step up as reliable shot creators, the Cougars could field one of their most complete and dangerous teams under Kelvin Sampson. I think Uzan comes back.

but even at full strength if DW returns … toppins is 6’9 220 at the 5, darrion williams 220lbs at the 4… there is an unavoidable lack of post Defense just with their roster… similar with Purdue… they will have great offensive player, but those great offensive players have suspect D… they have unavoidable question marks

To me the ability to get 3s from the 4s has been the most glaring weakness (if it even is one)…

at the college level that would be nice to have but not having a stretch 4/5 isn’t a killer like it is in the nba especially for a team like us where its pretty rare that the defense lets us down
