Gentlemen, if Indiana can win a National Championship, why can’t we?
I’m just glad it wasn’t the usual Alabamas and Ohio States
This game is proof that the bowl system always sucked arse.
Exciting to the last minute with 10 ranked team earning the right to play #1 and coming dang close winning. Took a heisman winner to hold them off.
Looks like the best team won on tbe field.
We need a Heisman QB lol
If we still had Holgorsen, I’d say that’s why. Thankfully, we hired a good coach.
Cignetti brought some dudes from JMU, a QB from UC-Berkeley that nobody else wanted, leftovers from a 3-9 Indiana squad and won a national championship.
Indiana are national champions. Nebraska is top 10 in basketball…weirdest timeline ever
Those Indiana kids wouldn’t have been there during the BCS or 4 team playoffs.
NIL, transfer portal, and spread of talent made this possible.
Mendoza getting film for his future announcing gig…
We just saw a great college football game and you gotta throw a turd in the punchbowl? GEEEZZ
What a great football game! It’s fun to watch both teams play well and trade body blows. Both QB’s played well and stepped up in tough spots.
It turns out that the difference in the game came down to a doinked FG and a blocked punt. Special teams delivered big for the Hoosiers.
That’s NIL, for you.
But I foresee some SEC schools wanting to implement regulation to avoid seeing these Cinderella stories…
Wow! Rice’s former QB Coach just won the College Football National Championship.
I trust Wiggy
nebraska is mostly due to player retention so we’ll see how they reload but this is the worst indiana team we’re gonna see in a decade lol
That’s the whole reason they are working so hard on it. It’s why Tech didn’t want to sign.
Notre Dame lost 3 times this postseason.
- Didn’t make the playoffs
- Saw their in-state competition and Miami make the national championship.
- Have to deal with Indiana fans now.
did they really lose since all they need to do is schedule a million of fcs schools and they can coast to a charity bid now ![]()
Looks to me like he’ll have about 10 years (?) in the NFL to practice his announcing skills
