- How did ND drop spots and Miami jump spots without playing a single post-regular season game?
- Why did BYU get punished for playing a championship game, but Alabama did not get punished?
- Why was ND ranked ahead of Miami until today?

When Duke beat Virginia, it was known JMU and Tulane would be in the CFP.

Yet the only Big 12 representative is the championship game winner, and the ACC representative is a team who didn’t even appear in the championship game yet still moved up spots

Watching the show and hearing about Texas, ND, and other P4 did not get in due to G5 due to “how they played”. Its more like the money they spent and now they’re at home.

Why is BYU getting punished for losing to Texas Tech, the #4 team in the country, twice?
Who’s to say BYU couldn’t beat other CFP teams? Are they suggesting JMU or Tulane can beat Texas Tech?
It makes zero sense. That’s the problem. The logic is nonexistent.

Well, in reference yo BYU, they had 2 shots at Tech. Lost both. I think their frosh QB became a liability for them. I think Vandy should have been in.

The committee valued Miami’s victory over ND in the regular season. Only reason that I can come up with. Some perplexing decisions on behalf of the committee.

Texas Tech is the better team, that doesn’t mean BYU should be left out.

Tech seems to have a favorable path to the final. Oregon is overrated. And if they face JMU, they should handle them easily.
As for Indiana, that game would be a low scoring game but ultimately I believe Tech’s defense would make the necessary plays to win.
I like UGA-tt in the final…

Everyone will handle JMU.
JMU was not supposed to be in the CFP. Not that I don’t support it per se, by sheer rule, they have a spot mainly due to the ACC being terrible this year (yet somehow Miami is still in despite losing to SMU and Louisville, and ND not being in).
It makes zero logic. Notre Dame is screwing up the CFP.
