2025 Football Schedule

What do you consider a fun trip in this conference? Outside of UCF I don’t think any are huge tourist destinations

Waco is dull as Hell, although Baylor does have a nice campus and VERY NICE stadium.

I would say a trip to Tempe for ASU would be fun.

My guess is we chose Thursday because our students are still on campus before Labor Day weekend when Houstonians flock to Austin, Guadalupe, Gulf of America, New Orleans.

Doesn’t Waco have the Dr. Pepper museum?

Was hoping for ASU or UCF (for the new Epic Universe which opens over the summer) we will probably go to Waco because it is Thanksgiving.

Waco has the Dr. Pepper museum, Texas Ranger Museum, Texas Sports Hall of Fame, Mayborn Museum, Mammoths, a fun little zoo, and the stupid Magnolia Market. Great for a family trip.

Utah, BYU, CU for mountain stuff

Arizona and ASU for desert and golf

WVU gives you access to Pittsburgh

Houston, Fort Worth, and KC have great food a museums.

I dig visiting college towns.

Honestly, the only place I’m not interested in is Orlando. It’s generic suburban sprawl with expensive theme parks.

Yea I see what you’re saying. It’s just not the most favorable day for the opener especially for Houston traffic. I expect the attendance to take a hit because of it.

I’m planning on Oregon State, max 7 hour drive from north of Seattle. ASU is a maybe, but my son’s best friend’s dad is a grad so we could have a good watch party anyway.

Looking forward to @Colorado, Utah, BYU, Boise

I went to Orlando recently and it’s actually a pretty cool town, even without the theme parks. They have a unique art and food scene, and a large immigrants population (like Houston) that brings their unique cultures to Orlando.

Three way at Skyline! LaRosa’s pizza not bad either.

That’s pretty much Houston

Very advantageous schedule. 4 of first 5 in the Houston city limits. 7 games in Houston city limits. 6-6 and bowl game is the minimum bar for next year. Gotta get it done.

There will be a buzz around for the first CW game and the many other high ranked portal guys. To see the offensive improvements and if defense is better. CWF usually takes three years to turn around a program, I look for two, with a 9-3 record. (10-2 and they could make the playoffs)

Fritz can turn this around faster at UH then other stops because he has more recess and access to better recruits. The recruits and tranfers he pulling have been higher caliber then Tulane
