2025 MLB Postseason

Maybe because I baked in LA at a day game. I had great seats for the Angels right off the corner of the home dugout about seven rows up. That was in 2009 (I think) when they had Vlad and Abreu in the outfield. I didn’t know anyone else on their team except Speier. They were a really good team that year. The crowd was similar to Astros fans in temperament. Plus it reminded me of a hot azz nurse from Anaheim that I dated when I lived in Fountain Valley (speaking of dull and lifeless.)

Fun fact: I was driving back from Tijuana with my girlfriend on the freeway and we were in the far left lane, we heard a thud behind us, and when we looked to the right there was a Camry with an Asian couple going 70 mph backwards in the next lane. Don’t know what happened but the image in my rearview mirror would make Nascar fans envious. Huge wreck. I asked my potty-mouth Latina girlfriend if we should stop as she was trained in trauma. Her reply: “Hell no! I work in a clinic, not for the f—ing red cross!”

Angel stadium is always a chill time. Dodger stadium can deliver a more lively experience but unless you care about one of the teams playing it’s really not worth the extra hour+ to get in and out of the stadium.

I can totally see that. I had nice seats in both places, but my seats at Dodger Stadium for the day game were in the shade the whole time - would have sucked to be in the sun.

And I just have picked the right gate, because I was out of the parking lot in like 10 minutes.

The Angels crowd was lame and only came to life when Altuve nearly got hit. It was pretty boring, and the stadium just didn’t have any kind of character, imo.

How to beat the Dodgers? Get to the bullpen.

Technically his translator did. Shoeless Joe and Charlie Hustle spinning in their graves

Technically, Shoeless Joe didn’t bet on his team. He took money for his team to lose. That’s called fixing a game. Still illegal today. Just ask Rozier and Billups.

Eight Men Out is a top notch baseball movie.

Shoeless hit .375 in the Series and committed no errors. Dude was innocent.

That’s their story and they’re sticking to it!
He’s too valuable to mlb to get the Tucupita Marcano treatment.

Right? Don’t mind this explosive story about the biggest star in baseball. Let’s sweep this right under the rug…

Big bounce for Toronto

I wouldn’t have a problem with people betting on their teams if it were all public. That’s confidence backed by finance.

Losing on purpose. Go rot.

Should Toronto just wimp out and walk Shohei the rest of the series?

Horrible base running from Toronto. They deserve to lose this one.

Why they sent that fat azz is mystifying

Ohtani has now set a record with 7 times on base and 15 total bases in a single WS game. Even when you don’t pitch to him he sets records. Lol

That loss is gonna be hard to come back from for the Blue Jays.
