That was a long one and a back breaker for the Jays. Ohtani crushed the Jays from the plate today. Next time he’ll do it from the mound.
The Jays absolutely gave the game away. Maybe twice.
for that long a game hard to say any one point turned it but i think taking mad max out early was a mistake, no one else had his experience in pitching these games.
series over now, dodgers in their own beds resting, jays in hotel and spent; would be suprised if it makes it back to toronto.

Except that he ADMITTED both knowing about the fix and taking money while testifying under oath to the Grand Jury.
Guilty.
Of the eight men implicated, all eight admitted knowing about the fix, seven of eight (all except Buck Weaver) admitted taking money, and six of eight (all except Weaver and Shoeless Joe) admitted taking actions to try and lose.
Beiber doesn’t seem to have it tonight. Jays better find a back-up plan.

Today is the 8th anniversary of the best baseball game I’ve ever been to - Game 5 of the 2017 WS.
That game was absolute mayhem. I still get blood pressure spikes thinking about it.
I had an early flight out for work the next morning, but it was hard to leave the park. Just amazing. I didn’t come down off that high until I passed out the next evening.
