Jamier Jones said recently if he had to commit today it would be Houston. But his dream school is Kentucky, no offer from them though.
Recruits always talk well about UH. Even if they donât end up here. You canât get them all after all, but you have to like the way they talk about us.
As pointed out Shead, Roberts and Dunn could all come back next yr (covid yr). Doesnât look like any of them would be drafted in the NBA next yr so thereâs no guarantee $$.
Curious how much guys can make overseas or in the G league? Also curious how much these three are making in NIL this year? How much are guys like Fabian White, Kyler Edwards, Carlton etc making? Would be interesting to know if these three could make more $$ in NIL next year compared to playing professionally abroad or in the G league.
They may just be ready to move on and I get that. However if itâs about $$ and they could make more coming back in NIL I can appreciate that aa well. Having Shead come back would be huge because it solves the PG issue.
Probably wishful thinking but this would look great for next seasonâs rotation.

i highly doubt Queen would come here to be a reserve. Much like Jarace, a starter from day one.
Chase McCarty is another guard/wind that might see minutes. Curious to see what Wilson does, especially now that players can transfer twice without being penalized.
Gotta be decent NIL.

If Terrance comes back for a 3rd year, heâll be getting starters minutes/be a starter
Heâll play 30 minutes per game.

Coach specifically said, âI wish I knew who was coming back next year. We have five to six kids who MAY not be here next year, which means we MAY have to go to the portalâ.
He doesnât know so he isnât âexpectingâ anything.
where is Francis? He is potentially the best big in the nation if he can take next step. His best chance of taking next step is staying here. I sense he and coaches knows that.
Where is Roberts. - I believe Roberts will not leave. Why would he with NIL and if he can expand to three pointer next season, result of getting drafted or similar. In my mind he is staying. Better than playing the D league and getting lost in the shuffle. Tuggler backs 4 and 5.
Shead- with shooting percentage the way it is I believe he is staying as well. He is an NBA player and just needs to stay another year to prove he is an NBA guard - second round. Which broadens the path to NBA full time player.
Cryer is pretty darn good and ALL AMERICAN this year - I am thinking he is likely our only draft pick this year.
Sharp just needs to get comfortable and shoot at 40+% from 3 and continue to attack basket and becomes unstoppable. So, he stays and becomes a 1st round pick. All American the next year
TA - staying and will be great. Draft pick after his junior year and all American (Two for UH next year)
Queen coming here (1 and Done). How could he not choose us as he watches each of his potential landing spots games - our team is good and other teams he is looking at are not so good. So now Francis comes off bench (Best 2 five men in the country splitting time on same team) and Francis spells Roberts and Tugler on top of playing the 5. Queen starts - they split time.
Mercy Miller - Playing time and learning behind Shead and splitting duties with Mylik or he isnât ready and thus red shirted - letting Mylik be fulltime back up.
Mylik will only will get better and be a great back up to Shead next year.
McFarland begins his opp with spot time at 4 and 5.
Jefferson earns time next year.
McCarty earns time as true freshman
Lath plays sparling and improves immensely. The next year is his year.
Man, are we gonna be good!
Then the energy support and success of Ramone Walker make it hard not to play him some.
Dunn will still be here and makes us national champs with his contributions as role player and bucket getter!
we play to groups of five with a couple players that fit in and adjust rotation based on how they play. We play 10 with two additional sup capable players. Depth scoring relentless D - TWELVE DEEP
That is my prediction for next year.
Prediction for this this year 4 - 6 total losses including conference and NCAA tourney - with 4 losses we win National Championship.
