He is athletic enough to be very switchable on D and then will give a knew dimension in pick and roll. Should be fun to watch him and the other youngsters.

Aaron torres a known insider thinks peat to Arizona st… but to be clear he is saying it with context… not from a source
he did have a source that arizona st was going to be fire Hurley after this season… the complete flip to saying he is staying for next year, he “thinks” the only thing that could have caused a flip is some strong indication that Peat is coming to ASU …and that they are keeping Jayden Quaintance (2026 lottery pick) joson sanon (5star freshmen this year)… further context is that they arent extending him and it will be his last year of his contract (making it hard for him to recruit)… its a play for just next year, but without peat they be projected potentially last in the league
again he emphasizes that its speculation, but says it doesnt make sense otherwise
he does note he heard peat wanted to wait til april/may till some draft decisions… says he doesnt think any of the texas school are that in it, but if it was a texas team its houston

- if what torress said is true that he is waiting on “draft” decisions… we are the only team with any draft decision that would impact him…its clear returner or obvious starter…
- every arizona big is returning (arizona is recrutiing him as a wing, but love is gone, no more eligibility)
- every arizona state PF/Wing is gone and out of eligibity - would be a clear starter - this has been known
- Baylor barely had any bigs this year- and omier and celestine are gone - obvious starter
- Texas, Arthur Kaluma and sedrick are both 5th year seniors - obvious starter
if he is waiting on draft decisions the only question mark is us… if he was waiting on which coach will be fired? that might make more sense as Texas & ASU could fire their coaches this offseason

If I was AD, I would never base a decision to keep a coach based on signing a 5 
recruit. Bobby Hurley’s coaching has been underwhelming.

Jackson’s teammate at shadow creak, i watched a few games of his becuase of that… big time scorer and super athletic.
undersized for a Sg at 6’1 but did have a arizona st offer at one point
