I donāt think Iāve ever seen Roberts shoot a shot (in a game and in normal non-desperation flow) from more than 12 feet away (not 15). I remember exactly ONE flat footed baseline shot from about 12 feet (he missed, but I was surprised he even shot it)

i would guess that the young man is staying in state. He will attend Arizona State. Itās close to home, his parents can see him play etc. Remember, he saved the coachās job.
Look out for Texas they just hired Sean Miller and have money to throw around.
Do you remember Francisās free throw shooting last year or his offensive game at the beginning of this year?
What about Mylik last year?

Not sure if iām the minority but I think Koa Peat is ready to play day 1 in College. I think he is more ready than Cenac. Cenac has the higher ceiling but Peat can compete and be really productive early.

I was thinking about the timing. I could see him deciding that he wants to be somewhere that will still be playing this time next year and he doesnāt want to risk his spot by waiting for the transfer portal moves these schools will make.
For UH, he might have taken note of how much attention our bigs are getting and seen that we can be a real showcase for someone like him. He might also have decided that weāre gonna have two front court starting spots open.

He also could have seen how much rotation we are having even with JoJo. We lose Francis and Roberts and even if we retain JoJo then he will still see plenty of floor time. JoJo only averages like 20 minutes a game and I donāt see him being a 30+ minute guy because he still commits a lot of fouls. McFarland could be due some time but coming off the injury itās no guarantee

Yep, though you have to give JoJo credit for controlling the foul issue over the last several weeks. Even look at Mylik to see how big of a role every rotation player can play.

Also wasnāt there some talk of Cenac playing at the 3 from time to time. That would be interesting. And I think plausible if TA leaves in the portal

Also if Peat were to commit to UH that would make it one of the best classes of all time. Especially when the 2025 hs class is so deep with talent.
