Millennial and Gen Z Coogs are the two greatest generations this university have ever seen.
We came to UH because we wanted to not because we had to.
We don’t know the UH that almost dropped football. We don’t know the UH that felt as if they were inferior to horn and aggy. We don’t know the UH that old people call Cougar High.
And that’s a good thing. It shows the growth the university has undergone and the foundation the Old Coogs built.

If you are planning on going to the Rice game, and don’t have tickets yet, here is a suggestion I recommend. The Rice ticket office has a promotion. Donate $99 to their “underserved youth program” and they will give you four free tickets. Pick your seats from what is available. I got four on the Rice side (out of the sun), 50 yard line row 30. Contact Keith at 713-348-3103. Be sure to mention the “underserved youth program.” If you need more than four tickets, I am sure he will work with you.

Do they still stop checking for tickets after half time?
HIGHLY recommend this. Just got 9 together on the UH side, row 15, for a $198 donation, or $22 per ticket.
9 tickets together directly through the Rice ticket office is at least $35 per ticket, SeatGeek is $85 per ticket.

SOLD. I have 2 tickets to the SFA game this Thursday 8/28 and one Green lot parking pass Section 307, row 9 seats 25 and 26 (aisle). $50 for everything. Zelle or Venmo.
They released ANOTHER 1,000 tickets!

Thanks to our rock star Pres. She has instilled a new life into the student population. Students didn’t go and were not encouraged to go to football or basketball games, support the university or wear UH gear (plenty of other schools repping on campus). It wasn’t always that way, going to games in the 70’s, the Dome was rocking.
