14-10 is a pretty mediocre start with this schedule. We should have swept Sam and UTA and won a game against Tech. 18-6 should be the record. I doubt we would be complaining too much right sitting at 18-6 and 3-3 in conference, but here we are having to play catch up and make a serious run.
We know you hate Whitting, but save it for after the season and let the fans enjoy the baseball season. They won series with Cal and UCF so given where they were picked, this season is better than expected. TCU is at the top of the conference and hopefully they play well at home. You complain about the schedule, they had two top 20 opponents games cancelled, they could do nothing about, and who knew the aggies would be so bad.
There was nothing that was not true in my postā¦.you are free to put me on ignore.
They actually could have done something about the two games cancelledā¦ā¦they could have played themā¦.yeah it was cold but they could have playedā¦.especially knowing how bad the rest of non-con was.
And you donāt have to believe me but a little birdie that I trust immensely told me Oregon State would have playedā¦ā¦they didnāt fly all the way down here not to.
And honestly some of your posts have been some of the most out of touch, clueless posts I have read on the baseball boardā¦.but Iāve always been polite to you and even tried to explain why this or that doesnāt mean what you think.
If my posts are causing you to ānot enjoyā the season thatās on you popsā¦.please put me on ignore.
It is hard to get excited with that we are doing better than expected when we were a perennial participant in regionals. We have been mediocre since we lost Anderson.
I am just a fan of UH in all sports, sorry if I sound clueless to you, I do not have little birdies or coaching experience and you can put me on ignore, but nothing in my post was not factual.
2 wins at UCF is great timing but 14-10 is
rough vs this schedule.
Improved over Winthrop beat an SEC team/ OK.
Factual yes.
Those games were cancelled & AM is bad.
You left out playing series vs UT-A and Grambling put them in this position.
Could they have done something about that ?
All that aside.
On the micro level.
Iām happy to not be horrible & after TCU
its v AM-CC, @ Baylor x 3, v Rice.
WVU in Htown sets up nicely.
Also
UH is 9th in batting/ 9th in pitching/ 5th in fielding in Big12.
Donāt come at me about the schedule being better than it is because they had those two games cancelled. Even if you play those, you still get killed in the RPI for playing series against Grambling and UTA. Those are the facts.

Know youāre a great fan and support Coogsā¦butā¦I LOVE baseball and still go to some games but there is no way to dodge itā¦the program has stunk it up for years now. There is ZERO, NADA, ZILCH, NEIN excuses for letting this once proud program slip to this level of mediocrity, absolutely inexcusable. I will ALWAYS support my Coogs but this should have been addressed and the change made at least 2 years ago.
