That is Tom Holiday, who is the coach’s Dad and a former head coach at OSU. He was a pitching coach there forever when they were really good. He is a fiery guy.
TW should get fired for the shenanigans he pulled today. That was Bush League.

I have not seen this done in about 15 years……and it was one of my son’s tournaments when he was 10-11 years old….the opposing coach was stalling so his team would not get to bat before time limit….
This is a D-1 coach!? GTFO….what an embarrassment.

This is one of the most bush league things a coach can do….other coaches have ZERO respect for crap like this.

What was he doing exactly?
Acting like an a$$ and arguing to hope the weather moved in again so they couldn’t finish the game.
And if anyone tries to say it was because the team had a flight to catch, just stop.
It was 9-1 with a 1/2 to go to make it official……if that was the deal you have some class and between innings you talk to umpires and opposing coach and agree they get the win….then you pack up and go.

We can’t help it that they still play on dirt. We can’t help it that there was lightning in the area.
Like someone said the other day, this program has gone downhill since Frank Anderson left. What we can do is get a real baseball coach.
