It was a good defense statistically but according to UH standards it wasn’t as crisp as that ‘21 team.

If you are referring to me, no I have not forgotten about his freshman year. If we had him for at least three years we would have won a national title with him IMO. But such is life now. And he himself said after the loss to Illinois that it felt different playing against the older guys.
Fleming is one of the best guards we have ever had here and certainly one of my all time favorites. But unfortunately few freshmen, even great ones, are ready to play big physical old me like Illinois lol. We had the same problem with Arizona but to a lesser degree IMO…

Great Analysis,
One thing I would tweak is JoJo 30 minutes, him being foul prone will make that very unlikely, JoJo playing 22 minutes is more realistic and East playing at 10-12 minutes and Jackson playing closer to 12 minutes is a good goal.

Flemdawg wasn’t the freshman that lost that game for us… Cenac couldn’t hit wide open jumpers for the entire first half and by the time we pivoted from that gameplan we were done…

1, I think they should be different lists for PG and SG/WG. 2 I have no idea what criteria people are using, just vibes? Or Player at his peak, his best season, overall talent? Or simply if you had to pick 1 to win a game or for a season?

I never said he was…in previous post I have said on more than once that Cenac fell apart. My point even Flemings himself said he was a tad awe struck by the Illinois “old” warriors. I also said Flemings is obviously one of the all time Coog point guards

Also has TEN Big 12 teams getting in….that would be cool if that were the case.
