I’m telling you…that kid has what it takes.
Plus, our culture is forged in June, July and August. Who is going to tell Chase, Bryce, et al who have been patient, loyal and working their asses off that this guy who has more baggage than SW airlines and who has traveled more than Marco Polo and Don Quixote combined is going to take playing time away from them? I know it’s Rothstein reporting but this sounds like a bunch of BS to me. Hall is anathema to UH hoops.

And you have to factor in that he would be starting at Ground Zero here and how would it affect chemistry, etc.? And if I’m Chase or Bryce I would be pissed as hell because our staff told those two they wouldn’t over recruit them. And then add this Johnny Come Lately? We would be in jeopardy of losing those two after the season.

Don’t believe the reports on who we have contacted. Pretty sure he will not come here to come off the bench and think about the chaos it would throw our rotation in adding him to the starting group at either position.•

Starting at Power Forward makes a little bit of sense to me, but it would definitely change the perceived rotations. Plus Coach already said JoJo is playing at that spot this year. So I don’t see the fit

They’ll take that percieved disrespect, and run with it. Coach likes to play that role also. He’s more of a fun interview after a November loss or being overlooked in ANY July-August polling.

Is he afraid to compete or doesn’t want to be pushed? Or just looking for the biggest bag?
Maybe him changing schools every single year played in to him not being selected in the draft along with him being suspended and benched while at Auburn.
Instead of maybe chasing the highest bag it might behoove him to go play for a coach who could not just help him with his game but that could also help him with his personal issues that might have put doubt in NBA teams willing to invest in the kid.

Kelvin doesn’t recruit the best players. He recruits the right players. These aren’t my words, they are his. Of course the best players play. But it’s not us fans picking who is the best player. If it’s me choosing I’m going with Chase and Bryce. You can have Hall and all his stats.
