They’re rolling in now.
Geez…
Sorry this one was 2 days old.
My bad.
“No coach in the (Big12) conference has a winning record against ranked teams in their career”

Yes.
CBS cranks the content out for the P4.
Its usually solid.
Great info/great comparisons
Patrick Overmeyer is on the John Mackey Award Pre-season watch list for TEs.
Couldn’t get a good link to post.
These seem to be the best BIG 12 matchups, per each time slot for the first few weeks of the season. I’ll be keeping a copy for easy reference in the TV room:
Good list.
I don’t argue BYU @ Colorado state on cbs deraerves to be on this list… but I do argue that Tech Abilene Christian should not be on the list
In that time slot, it does because it is the best in that time slot. AND you have to understand that ACU pulls a bunch of former P4 recruits and is usually top 25 FCS. As far as P4/FCS matchups go, that isn’t a terrible one.
Oooh. I get it. I’m dumb.
It’s one of those “shouldn’t be a close one” games because of combination of talent+depth+home field but would draw attention as long as it stays close.
It will probably end up a 50 something to 13 ish game but ACU might keep it a little interesting for a bit.
And I think the game went to OT the last time they played a couple of years ago. There are also several ACU coaches who either played at Tech or have close ties, so that gives the TV guys something to talk about.
That was a big part of why Kalani almost went to Penn State. BYU has a frustrating bureaucracy with lots of admin who don’t want athletics to succeed. It’s an interesting place lol.
Move over Olive Garden.
Brisket Sandwiches are about to become the new Farm Boy staple.
That’s it.
Buc ee’s is too far away.
I can’t drive more than 20-30 minutes without my back going out.
I’m making home-made sandwiches today for lunch.
Super thin shaved deli meats (Boar’s Head Roast Beef, Turkey, and Ham)… with Gouda AND Muenster Cheese… TOASTED on soft fresh-baked deli hoagie rolls… add in shredded lettuce, pickles, banana pepper rings, red onion, mustard, and mayo.
Patterned after a Jimmy John’s sub I had a week or so ago… only better.
I may post a picture later.
