Well then, it’s probably more accurate to say an already chilly day turned into a poorly functioning refrigerator once the sun went down! 
49 at kick, no windchill, might have gotten down as low as 42-44 degrees at the end of the game.

2021 woulda been legit cold tho. But that was a blowout against maybe the worst team ever lol.
So that always helps!
The last 2 Farmageddons in America were wintery to say the least.
This one was about 26 degrees, 20 degree windchill with about 6 inches of snow:
And the one after that in Ames was actually much colder. It was about the same temp, but the windchill was 9 friggin’ degrees.
We were dressed properly but our faces were about done for. That was bad. It hurts.
